Greg is a 32 year old mechanic who presents with lower back pain. In this activity you will be guided through spinal examinations leading to a differential diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis. Ankylosing Spondylitis is a painful, progressive, rheumatic disease. It mainly affects the spine but it can also affect other joints, tendons and ligaments. Other areas, such as the eyes, lungs, bowel and heart can also be involved. Take time to view x-ray films and listen to the discussion of this condition.
