This module discusses the epidemiology and vaccines for common travel-associated infections
Objectives:
At the completion of this module participants should be able to
- Recall the epidemiology of common travel-associated infections
- Discuss the available vaccines against travel-associated infections, their administration and common side-effects
- Assess a patient's immunisation requirements specific to their individual travel itinerary
- Recall a system in place in your practice to ensure that patients are educated and informed to be able to make an informed decision regarding travel immunisation
