Objectives:
At the completion of this ALM participants should be able to
- Recall current evidence based information for the National Immunisation Program (NIP) vaccines and travel vaccination
- Discuss best practice management for pre and post-vaccination procedures
- State the current NIP Schedule.
- Discuss currently available vaccines, funding requirements and vaccine preventable diseases covered by the schedule
- Indicate likely barriers to implementing the NIP and discuss how to address these issues at a provider level
