You have successfully followed all the guidelines and immunised the patient - what happens next? What happens if something goes wrong?
Objectives:
At the completion of this module participants should be able to
- Recall the types of common AEFI and their management, and recall current CPR guidelines
- Understand the importance of reporting AEFI and state the required process for reporting AEFI
- Discuss the importance of providing clear and concise post vaccination patient information
- Describe a system in place in your practice for the management of an adverse event following immunisation (emergency procedures)
