Abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) can be disruptive to a woman's personal, family, work and social life. Participate in this module to refresh your knowledge in assessing women in their 20s, 30s and 40s who present with AUB.

By completing this learning activity, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the definition and anatomy of abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) and its impact on patients.
  • Understand the aetiology of AUB according to the underlying mechanism and appreciate the differences between its structural and non-structural causes.
  • Effectively assess women who present with AUB, including ordering appropriate investigations.
  • Understand treatment options available for AUB and be able to select which patients may be appropriate for these.
