This ALM discusses the screening and further assessment of women in the perinatal period for possible depression and/or anxiety. A range of both pharmacological and non pharmacological management modalities are discussed and the development of team based care arrangements are explored. This education is also available as a series of 6 one hour activities.

Anxiety across the ages and stages of life

This ALM looks at the key diagnostic and management features for anxiety disorders commonly presenting in general practice. The education covers the age spectrum, ranging from prenatally to the elderly. The role of the GP as part of a primary care team is discussed together with the principles for best practice management of these conditions.
