Your data, Your patients, Your ePractice: An introduction to eHealth - education discussion

This is a discussion about the education called 'E-health supporting patient care'.

There is also a version of this education for practice staff called 'eHealth for practice staff'.

This activity will assist participants in identifying areas in practice where the introduction of e-health will benefit patients, the practice and the practitioners. The role of healthcare identifiers is explored and the advantages discussed. The personally controlled electronic health record is discussed and a sample patient journey using the PCEHR is used as an example to illustrate the potential role it can play in assisting with the sharing of health information.
