Associate Professor Nagesh Anavekar is a Consultant Cardiologist & Echocardiologist. He treats and manages a wide variety of adult cardiovascular diseases and has particular interests in the management & risk stratification of CV disease in high risk cohorts. As the Director of Echocardiography & Senior Staff Cardiologist/Physician at Northern Health, Dr Anavekar holds both public and private hospital appointments at the Epworth, John Fawkner and Warringal Hospitals. He is also a Senior Research Fellow with the Department of Medicine, Austin & Northern Health, and University of Melbourne and has completed numerous peer reviewed publications in his field.
