Course Overview

This module was produced from the RDN New Rural GP Orientation workshop in August 2014. Dr Ros Bullock presents an overview of life as a rural GP – the big picture – and integrating the hospital and community with rural general practice in NSW.

At the end of this course you will have a greater understanding of:

  • What it’s like to be a GP in the country.
  • Skills and knowledge required for rural practice.
  • The diversity of clinical activity in rural practice.
  • Integrating the hospital and community with rural general practice.

On completion, you will have the option to earn CPD points for this topic by undertaking an assessment activity.

Facilitator: Dr Ros Bullock

Acknowledgements
