Dr Leighton Kearney
BMedSci, MBBS, PhD, FRACP/Consultant and Non-Invasive Cardiologist – Graduated from the University of Tasmania before undergoing post graduate fellowships in cardiac imaging through the Austin Hospital (Melbourne) and the Royal Brompton Hospital (London). Subsequently, Dr Kearney completed a PhD in valvular heart disease through the University of Melbourne. Dr Kearney has multiple publications in peer reviewed journals and is pioneering the establishment of multidisciplinary heart failure clinics in private practice throughout


An estimated 480,000 Australians live with chronic heart failure (CHF) – a condition with a mortality rate comparable to the most common forms of cancer. This webinar will bring GPs fully up to date with the latest international clinical guidance on CHF, cutting through the complexity to provide clear pathways to early identification, accurate diagnosis and optimal management.

This webinar includes an opportunity for all participants to take part in an interactive Q&A with VIC based host speaker Dr Leighton Kearney. This education is an RACGP accredited activity, supported by Novartis.
