Dr Christine Burdeniuk
B.Sc (Hons), BMBS, FRACP/Cardiologist/Heart Transplant Physician/Director of Clinical Training, SALHN – Dr Burdeniuk’s clinical focus is the early detection of cardiac disease and optimisation of cardiac risk factor control. Since 2009 she has been providing care to patients with complex heart failure throughout the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network and has established a tertiary level heart failure service in Mt Gambier. She has been active in precepting medical students, physician trainees and nurse practitioner candidates and is the Director of Clinical Training for SALHN.

Overview

An estimated 480,000 Australians live with chronic heart failure (CHF) – a condition with a mortality rate comparable to the most common forms of cancer. This webinar will bring GPs fully up to date with the latest international clinical guidance on CHF, cutting through the complexity to provide clear pathways to early identification, accurate diagnosis and optimal management.

This webinar includes an opportunity for all participants to take part in an interactive Q&A with SA based host speaker Christine Burdeniuk. This education is an RACGP accredited activity, supported by Novartis.
