How are you treating your COVID-19 patients?

There has been an explosion of knowledge about treatment of COVID-19 in the community, with various updates affecting Australian general practice. Earlier this year the PBAC updated their recommendations again. Across four short, sharp and topical MEDTalks, a vibrant, passionate panel of GPs and an epidemiologist will outline the latest considerations for GPs when deciding which COVID treatment to use, on whom, and when.

Learning outcomes:

On completion of this educational activity participants will be able to:

  • Understand the latest PBAC recommendations regarding the use of available COVID-19 treatments.
  • Assess patients' risk factors and disease severity to identify the most appropriate COVID-19 treatment for each patient.
  • Develop follow-up and ongoing care plans for patients who receive COVID-19 treatment.
